Grain harvesting has started in the Republic
At present, barley harvesting is being done in 38 regions of Azerbaijan. It is expected that the barley harvest will be completed in the lowland regions at the optimal time. In the second decade of June, wheat harvest will be started in these regions.
According to operational information as of June 9, 986 combine harvesters were involved in the harvesting process. 417 harvesters of local units of "Agroservis" OJSC and 569 harvesters of individuals and legal entities participate in the active harvesting process. "Agroservis" OJSC has deployed additional harvesters from units located in the foothills and mountainous areas where harvesting is not currently being done to the regions where harvesting is being done.
It should be noted that the combined harvesters of "Agroservis" OJSC initially harvest in small and medium-sized farms with an area of up to 50 hectares. The process of harvesting is carried out on the basis of the principle of rotation. The duty system is determined by local executive representatives and municipalities during the preparation period for harvesting, and the control of the system is carried out by the State Agrarian Development Centers.
Determining the demand of the regions for harvesters from the beginning, deploying the machines in the regions according to the demand before harvesting, and implementing the social harvesting policy by "Agroservis" OJSC (first of all, harvesting will be carried out in areas up to 50 hectares), this year, as in previous years, there is a problem in the provision of machinery in the harvesting process. gives reason to say that it will not happen.
