The animal subsidy is set at AZN 100 for each healthy calf obtained through artificial insemination or embryo transfer. Animal semen produced in artificial insemination centers and imported into the country by persons registered in EKTIS should be used. Artificial insemination should be performed by specialists who have successfully completed advanced training or retraining of personnel, received a special certificate and diploma, and are registered in the SIS.
Uncle Mammad has 10 cows. If 5 calves are obtained from cows on his farm through artificial insemination, then what amount of animal subsidy will Uncle Mammad receive?
Calculation of animal subsidy:
Number of healthy calves x 100 AZN = animal subsidy Uncle Mammad receives a subsidy of 5 x 100 = 500 AZN for 5 calves.
