The State Agency for Agricultural Credits under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established in accordance with the Order No. 467 dated October 23, 2004 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On measures to improve management in the agricultural department". The agency ensures the attraction and use of loans for the purpose of state support to natural and legal entities engaged in entrepreneurial activity in the agrarian section.
On the basis of the State Agency for Agricultural Credits under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Service for the Management of Agricultural Projects and Credits under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Ensuring the activities of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and "Approving the structures of a number of central executive authorities "About" was created in accordance with the Decree No. 761 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 3, 2014 "on amending Decree No. 1015 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 14, 2010".
By Decree No. 571 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 23, 2015, the Civil Service Regulations were approved.
Decree No. 413 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 19, 2018 "On improving state support to agriculture and leasing activities in the agricultural sector" and Decree No. 23 of 2015 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On approval of the charters of some institutions included in the structure of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan" On the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (https://president.az/articles/31153) on amending Decree No. 571 of July 2015, the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency ( AKIA) was formed. The activity of the agency covers the following areas:
Granting of agricultural loans on favorable terms, concessions on machinery and breeding animals;
Provision of concessional loans, and guarantees;
Providing subsidies to farmers;
